INTERFACING NATURE AND PEOPLE
BSM’s landscape architecture endeavours to be nuanced, sensitive to its immediate and broader environment, to create habit and foster life as well as create a distinct sense of place. We consider factors which make a moment in a garden special: light and shadow and the way they change throughout the course of a day. We use planting in numerous ways, attempting to establish spaces within a garden, frame views beyond, create a sense of privacy or even deal with extenuating environmental circumstances. Our designs range from stylized residential gardens to park like interventions in estates to indigenous laissez faire gardens in more natural environments, depending on context and client’s taste. Regardless of style or form, our landscape designs embrace the changing of the seasons and times and hopes to bring people closer to nature.
