“Brian and his team delivered to us a clear plan for our dream home, for which we had only provided vague and uncertain ideas. He effectively translated our wishes into a masterpiece. His oversight of the project, and attention to every detail, allowed us be at a tremendous level of comfort and engagement, even though we are physically half a world away from the project.”
– Mark Greeff, Florida, USA
“We really enjoyed working with Brian. He helped us to create our dream home. What we loved was his attention to detail and how well he listened. He understood exactly what we needed and transformed our ideas into reality. We worried that being in different countries would make the project difficult to implement. But it was made very easy by Brian and his entire team. Of course, the house would not have been such a delight without Leisel’s work on our gorgeous garden. It is so easy to maintain and so fabulous in every corner. Thank you both for our dream home!”
– Radhika Jaykrishna, Ahmedabad

In my interactions with Brink Stokes Mkhize Architects & Landscape Architects, lead, namely Brian Stokes and his George office team, I have been highly satisfied with their capabilities and professionalism. In the various projects I have engaged with them I have every confidence that they process the appropriate skills and capabilities to continue to take on various types of projects in Health Infrastructure.
This team has also been involved in National Health Infrastructure project upgrades at Mossel Bay Hospital, for which, has required interactions with me for the future project and I am very satisfied with their attention to these quite complex design challenges.
Their abilities to manage design and budget, as well as the expectations of the Health role players involved, are always done in a very prompt and professional way and their focus on realistic outcomes is highly commendable.

Architect and landscape architect Brian Stokes has four decades of design under his belt. He has a natural talent for interpreting a client’s needs and making the impossible possible. He prides himself on his ability to craft old-school, hand-drawn concept sketches on butcher paper. Brian particularly enjoys organic designs which echo the beauty of nature: “I’ve always tended to fragment my buildings. Nature is fragmented, complex and organic. Creating a space that mimics this aesthetic, allows it to remain in harmony with the natural world.”
